What People Are Saying:

Ok, aside from moving, traveling to foreign country and dealing with all of the little changes that come with both of those changes I have been struggling to keep up with work. Literally drowning in work. One of my long term clients decided to do a whole new rebranding during all of my moving and they have just loaded more and more and more work on. In a project meeting with them last week the CEO mentioned that my work wasn’t looking as creative as it could and asked if I needed a break from the project to rejuvenate. I had no idea that this was an option and was like a weight lifted off of my shoulders. He told me to think it over, come up with a plan where I can have a break, but still get it done by the end of the year. So this morning I sat down to type out my plan for them and also included a list of things I need from them to make this happen. One of the items I mentioned was to focus on the top 3 projects and work to get those 100% done. Then work on the next 3 projects, etc… That way we are actually getting items done. Also that they couldn’t add anything to the list until we got everything done. As I was proof reading the email I realized that that was one of the things you wrote about in your book. Picking the top # of items on your to do list and not adding anything to the list until those are done. That is a way to not get overwhelmed, etc… I have been doing that in my own life, but have been struggling with how to implement that with clients. Just wanted to let you know how your book has helped me in my personal and professional life. Your book has important tools that I need to keep being productive and successful.
